Schenkel Shultz Awarded Contract with US Army Corps of Engineers

FORT WAYNE, IN — SchenkelShultz Architecture was one of three national architecture firms recently awarded its second design contract with the US Army Corps of Engineers in support of the Department of Defense Educational Activity. This activity operates 194 K-12 schools worldwide in support of military children. The Department of Defense Educational activity is currently executing a $4 billion program to construct and/or renovate these schools world-wide focusing on 21st Century educational design principles. SchenkelShultz has been a leader in these design concepts since 1998. This new contract will allow SchenkelShultz to continue its work on ten K-12 schools in the United States, Germany and Belgium.

Schenkel ArmstrongSchenkelShultz Architecture also announces the hire of Craig M. Armstrong to their Fort Wayne office. He is a recent transfer from their Raleigh, North Carolina office.
